To create a new play

1. Create the models for LithTech
You must create one model for each puppet you want to control. The models must be skeletons (with nodes) and they can have skeleton animations.

2. Import models
Place each model in a separate folder in the folder virpets\theStage\rez\models. Each model must have an .lta, .ltb and .dtx file.

3. Create VPM files for each model
Create one .vpm file for each puppet. In this file you specify which node movements and animations you wish to control with the system.

4. Create the world
Create the world(s) for LithTech. You can create one whole world for the entire play or you can create one world for each scene of the play.

5. Create SSF files for each scene
Create one .sff file for each scene you want to have in the play. In this file you specify which puppets you want to show, their initial position and orientation, the sounds you want to use, the different camera angles that you want to have and the world you are using, in case you are using one different world for each scene.

6. Create the VPD file for the play
Create the .vpd file for the play. In this file you specify the order in which you want to show the scenes.
