In the past week, we were focusing on implementing our design ideas into the second prototype. We created a detailed level design document with actions synchornize to beats. For our programmer’s convinience, we also splitted the level design into different object movements.
Programming wise, we decided to skip wave and uppercut in this prototype. Because of that, our detection is much more accurate. We also improved our UI design to show boxers the point they get and indicate the incoming punch type.
By the end of the week, we were almost finished with our second prototype. We then start to prepare the soft presentation. We decided to talk less and save more time for faculty feedback. Thus, we kept each slide simple with more work showcase and less caption. We are now well prepared for the soft opening presentation.
