Week 11

We were back at ETC for our formal playtesting. 10 players have tried our game, and they felt it’s really engaging and fun to play!

And we also found some things we can improve.

  1. The ammo should be more accessible
  2. Extra animation could be distracting
  3. Our game is really intense, so players would prefer less elements on the screen.

With that feedback in mind. We made several iterations.

  1. We added more ammo in the space, and kept them in the player’s vision
  2. We used clear signs as a visual feedback (e.g. you were hit )instead of complex animation
  3. We changed our mechanism, so players just need to focus on one health bar.
