Week 9: Time to Assemble

Last week, advisors were asking us what the final vision of our projects is. Since we were parallelly working on different tasks and not assemble them yet, we don’t have any wrap-up clips to demonstrate how the works look. Taking this comment into consideration, we decided to overview our schedule again and set up a milestone for assembly the scenes a little bit earlier.

Overall User Flow

It’s not easy to overview a whole experience and working schedule at the same time. Usually, we use google sheet to set up schedules and scrum boards to track working progress. For example, the scrum boards will break down each task and focus on details; in return, you might get lost the whole picture of the product. On the other hand, storyboards can visualize the experience and empathize with the process and flow. However, you have no clue about the timeline of development and priority. To solve the problem, we came up with a solution, User Flow Tracking Map, and it’s a tool based on user flow and shows breakdown and prioritization of each task.

The red border means high priority, and the orange means secondary. We fill the box with green to mark it as completed.

For the pre-show, we are planning two different interfaces for producers/staff and the audience.

The following pictures, only show the works for our tech-end, excluding actor’s blocking. More than three layers happen at the same time, which tells it’s complicated to assemble them.
