This week we had another meeting with our clients to go over our progress. As we’ve met them on site last week and showed theme several works we did, they were pretty happy with what we’ve created so far and offered several valuable feedbacks.

After the client meeting, we thought of how we may improve our production pipeline and how we may present our works in a more coherent way during halves. We then decided to create story beat script and storyboard.

During the week, we finalized the car dumping animation and added sound effects to it. We also found a free human model silhouette and a free shoveling animation on Mixamo. We recorded the animation and prepared sound effects for that as well.

Programming wise, our programmers tested out the fluid simulation that we want to use in our following production when we create the cast house scene. They also created a calibration system in order to go over the potential influence of the shadow or any other fiducial detecting issues.

For halves presentation, we created our slide decks and practiced many times. We’ve been to the RPIS and practiced their as well. It helped a lot by letting us realized that our video clips in the presentation were not shared besides us. So that they cannot be played in our first trail run in the RPIS. Other than that, we are pretty ready for the upcoming halves presentation.
